New poll reveals what Americans think of Trump’s decision to involve US in Iran, Israel conflict

A recent poll conducted in the days after Donald Trump unleashed bunker buster missiles on Iran showed that a majority of Americans disapproved of the move.

56 percent of those interviewed in the CNN/SSRS poll said they disapproved of the offensive, with 32 percent strongly against the decision and 24 percent somewhat disapproving.

  • Only 44 percent approved of the attack involving the US in the conflict between Israel and Iran: 20 percent said they strongly approved of the move, and 24 percent “somewhat” approved of the decision.

    The poll also showed that an overwhelming 58 percent of the participants believe the attack will make Iran more of a threat to America, while only 27 percent think the opposite, and 15 percent responded neither.
