Seven people were shot, including juveniles, at a Jackson, Tennessee park late Saturday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to the mass shooting in Kate Campbell Park on 2700 North Parkway East at around 8:40 p.m.
“Seven individuals were injured in the incident, with one suffering serious injuries and being receiving treatment at a local hospital,” police said.
One victim remains in critical condition while two others are listed in stable condition. The four remaining victims received treatment and were discharged from the hospital.
“Investigators are currently on scene conducting interviews with witnesses, processing the scene, and following up on leads to determine the circumstances surrounding the event.”
