3 people dead in shooting outside Georgia bar: ‘It’s frustrating’

Three people were shot to death outside a central Georgia bar just after midnight Sunday, authorities said.

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Midtown Daiquiri Bar and Grill in Macon just after 12 a.m. Sunday.

Three people were found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds and died by 1:10 a.m. Six people were injured and are currently in stable condition.

  • The coroner’s office identified the three deceased victims as Jedarrius Meadows Jr., 28; Javonta Faulks, 32; and Javarsia Meadows, 24.

    “It’s frustrating and it's depressing to see the killing. We were doing so good, but this week alone we’ve had five homicides,” Coroner Leon Jones said.

    The sheriff’s office did not announce any arrests in connection to the shooting.
