Authorities in Dallas arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the death of a missing teen found shot inside a car.
Nathaniel Vazquez, 17, was reported missing on Feb. 9, 2025, hours before his body was discovered inside a vehicle on the 4600 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street.

First responders pronounced Vazquez dead at the scene. The victim was set to graduate from high school this spring.
On Thursday, police arrested 17-year-old Robert Whitney on a charge of murder. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail.
Police did not release details about the murder or the relationship between Vazquez and the alleged killer.
