Authorities in Virginia said that two people were shot on Norfolk State University’s campus late Saturday.
“Norfolk police are continuing to investigate a shooting in the 2200 block of Presidential Parkway,” police said.
The first reports of the shooting emerged at around 11:30 p.m., sending the campus on lockdown.

Two male victims were transported to an area hospital, including one with life-threatening injuries.
University officials said that the shooting unfolded in the Greek Row section of campus.
“There’s an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available,” they said.
