Three people were killed and three others wounded in a shooting outside a townhome complex in Spotsylvania, Virginia, authorities said Tuesday.
Gunfire erupted in the Olde Greenwich area at around 5:30 p.m. The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that three people were killed.
Three injured victims were taken to local hospitals. No suspects have been arrested in connection to the mass shooting.
“We have nearly all of our detectives out right now looking for the suspects, and we will stay looking for these suspects,” said Major Elizabeth Scott.
The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident with the assistance of the Virginia State Police and the Fredericksburg Police Department.
