A Texas boy allegedly gunned down a teen girl outside a Baytown apartment complex following an altercation on a school bus, officials said Friday.
Officers responded to the shooting at around 4 p.m. at the playground of the apartment complex in the 4600 block of Village Lane.
Police said the shooting stemmed from an altercation involving the two Goose Creek CISD students on a school bus.

Later, the victim was reportedly at the playground when the teen suspect approached and shot her.
The girl succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital. Police said the suspect was arrested.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The shooter and victim’s identities were not immediately disclosed.
