An Illinois trucking business employee has been charged with killing the company’s CEO, authorities said.
Josif Suclea was charged with first-degree murder on Saturday in connection to the death of Dane Koletski, the CEO and president of ATG Truckload.
Koletski was found dead inside a Crestwood company building on March 5 after it caught fire.
An autopsy revealed the CEO died from injuries to his neck by a sharp or pointed object. His death was deemed a homicide.
Suclea, an employee of the trucking company, was identified as a suspect. He was tracked to a truck stop in Holland, Michigan where he was arrested.
On Friday, Suclea was extradited to Illinois and charged with homicide. A motive for the crime remains unclear.
