Illinois trucking business employee charged in CEO’s death

An Illinois trucking business employee has been charged with killing the company’s CEO, authorities said.

Josif Suclea was charged with first-degree murder on Saturday in connection to the death of Dane Koletski, the CEO and president of ATG Truckload.

Koletski was found dead inside a Crestwood company building on March 5 after it caught fire.

  • An autopsy revealed the CEO died from injuries to his neck by a sharp or pointed object. His death was deemed a homicide.

    Suclea, an employee of the trucking company, was identified as a suspect. He was tracked to a truck stop in Holland, Michigan where he was arrested.

    On Friday, Suclea was extradited to Illinois and charged with homicide. A motive for the crime remains unclear.
