Body found inside Florida preserve believed to be missing 17-year-old

A human body found deep inside the Weedon Island Preserve on Friday is believed to be that of a missing 17-year-old boy.

The Pinellas County Medical Examiner is still working to identify the body and determine a cause of death.

    Volunteers and park rangers combed the Weedon Island Preserve for days using drones, boats, and helicopters.

    Personal items belonging to the teen were found by a park ranger and on Friday, authorities brought a helicopter and located the human remains.
