The preliminary hearing in the case of the Wyoming Medical Center shooting revealed a lot of new details about the suspect and the circumstances of the incident.
Mitchell Taylor, 20, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and using a firearm after he reportedly opened fire at a Casper hospital, threatening employees. Taylor told investigators that he went there in order to ask for help but no one took care of him. He also admitted to taking LSD drug before the shooting.
According to the affidavit, Taylor asked police officers if he killed someone, and replied "that's what I figured" when he learned that he didn't harm anyone.
The judge set a $500,000 bond for Taylor.
