A Wyoming mother called 911 Monday afternoon to report shooting her four daughters moments before taking her own life, police in Big Horn County said.

Tranyelle Harshman, 32, told dispatchers that she had shot her two 2-year-olds and their two half-sisters, aged 7 and 9 years old, and was planning to do the same with herself.

“When dispatchers asked the status of the gunshot victims the female stated that she believed them to be deceased,” the sheriff’s office said.

The mother told dispatchers that “two children would be located upstairs in their cribs and two children would be located downstairs in their shared bedroom.”
