A Georgia murder suspect remains hospitalized in critical condition days after he allegedly murdered two boys last week.
“There is no update on a court appearance at this time,” said Police Staff Sgt. Sarah Hobbs said on Tuesday.
Police declined to reveal details about the incident but said the 46-year-old man is facing first-degree murder charges.
He was found with life-threatening injuries along with two fatally wounded boys aged 10 and 17 when officers responded to Skaling Court, in Milledgeville on Jan. 29.
The victims’ names and their relationship to the suspect were not disclosed.
“Although we recognize the public interest in this case, to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation and court proceedings, the Saint John Police are not able to provide answers to many questions,” Hobbs said.
