Missouri authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped jail for the second time this week and who is still at large.
Travis Davis made his way about 300 miles south LeFlore where he was apprehended Wednesday. The same escapee tried to sneak out of a patrol police car after getting rid of the handcuffs. Authorities said that the vehicle was found several miles away near Old Highway 59 in Howe. Davis is believed to have taken a train heading north.
The escapee is considered armed and dangerous. Oklahoma Highway Patrol and LeFlore County officers are searching the area and highways in order to arrest him.
Davis was being held in Pettis County jail on kidnapping and similar charges.
