An Atlanta man has died from a heart attack moments after he confronted suspects trying to break into his car in the early hours of Jan. 17.

Javon Brown and his wife heard the car alarm around 4:30 a.m. and saw the suspects trying to break into the vehicle through the window.

Brown armed himself with a gun and went outside to scare the burglars firing several shots.

“He was not hit. But then he went into cardiac arrest over the shock. He dropped down. I did CPR. I called 911 until I couldn’t feel my arms and hands, but it wasn’t enough,” the victim’s wife said.
