A missing Florida couple made a pact to die together months before their bodies were located in a wooded area last year.
Investigators said both Claudia and Nicolas Alvarez, ages 25 and 22, died from a gunshot wound to the head with Nicolas’ death ruled a suicide.
Their bodies were discovered in Osceola County on April 19 after construction workers reported an abandoned vehicle near the woods.

The Medical Examiner’s Office positively identified the remains as the missing Kissimmee couple.
After months of investigation, police recently revealed the couple planned to die together at the location.
The deaths were deemed an isolated incident and no other people were involved.
