A beloved Phoenix flight attendant was among two people killed in a stabbing spree in Denver last weekend.
Celinda Levno, 71, was killed Saturday while on a layover in Denver when she crossed paths with 24-year-old Elijah Caudill who was arrested the following day.
Caudill is accused of stabbing four people killing two. Three of the attacks occurred Saturday minutes apart near a Denver mall.
“As officers were in the area looking for this suspect, they saw a subject running with a knife in hand. They were able to quickly take him into custody,” Police Chief Ron Thomas said.
Police identified Caudill through surveillance footage after he fatally stabbed a fourth victim late Sunday.
“So many bad things happen in my store. They break the door, they steal the jewelry here,” witness Shyam Shresthra said.
Levno was remembered as a talented flute player who loved animals and gardening. She was the sole provider for her family.
