Two people were found dead after reports of a shooting in Cordova early Thursday morning, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to reports of a “possible shooting” at a home on Meadow Trail Cove in the area of Sanga and Bazemore roads at around 3:45 a.m.

Once there, they located the bodies of a man and a woman. Shelby County paramedics pronounced both victims deceased on the scene.
Authorities did not release further details surrounding the shooting citing the ongoing investigation.
