North Charleston news, South Carolina news.

A 5-year-old South Carolina boy was left an orphan after his father killed his mother, her father, and brother and then turned the gun on himself days after Christmas.

On Dec. 27, Darius Seay stormed into the North Charleston apartment of Adrienne Seay as she, her father John, and brother Andrew built Christmas toys for her son.

The 44-year-old man opened fire killing all three before taking his son to another home.

When officers responded to that home, Darius surrendered the boy and then shot himself with an AR-15-style rifle.
