Man ‘intentionally’ burned in New York’s Penn Station train terminal

A 67-year-old man was “intentionally” burned inside a Manhattan subway station Friday, authorities said.

The man was found on fire at the transit hub of Manhattan’s Penn Station train terminal just before 8 p.m., the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.

The victim, who was located near the entrance of the subway, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

    Investigators were seen focusing on a New Jersey Transit tunnel near tracks one through 12, local media reported.

    The incident comes days after an illegal immigrant set a sleeping woman ablaze inside a Brooklyn subway car, killing her.
