A missing Nevada woman’s body was found inside a freezer at her mobile home on Wednesday, officials said.
Neighbors of the 68-year-old woman reported her missing after they had not seen or heard from her since October.
Officers found two people living at the mobile home and acting suspiciously. They said they didn’t know about the woman.
Police searched the home and located a locked freezer. A locksmith was called to the home to open the freezer where the woman’s body was ultimately found.
37-year-old Daniel Roush was arrested for murder. He was one of the two people residing at the victim’s home.
Detectives later learned that the woman had hired the two laborers to do maintenance work at her home.
She reportedly expressed fears they would return and harm her, according to one neighbor.
“She was just very open to giving out too much information,” she said.
“I told the cop last night, any con artist hit a real payday. She probably would have given them anything they wanted. She did not deserve that.”
