A local Atlanta reporter shared short clips of Donald Trump’s Monday rally at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion showing attendees leaving the event while the former President delivered his speech.
“Pockets of the crowd at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion start to leave as Donald Trump’s speech continues,” Greg Bluestein, a reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, posted along with a clip showing empty seats around 40 minutes into Trump’s address.
About 20 minutes later, the reporter shared a 22-second clip showing a thinner crowd with the caption: “We’ve reached the roughly hour-mark of Trump’s speech.”
On social media, users commented on the two clips with Democratic Party social media activist Harry Sisson sharing: “YIKES! Trump’s rally in Georgia is practically EMPTY! The whole top section is blocked off and people have left the stands. Not a good look a week out from the election!”
A Tennessee supporter posted her own clip from the Atlanta event: “I went to a Trump rally tonight in Atlanta, Georgia. It was great! So electrifying!”
