Authorities in Washington have arrested a man on his way to Missouri to kill a sibling after slaughtering two teenage half-brothers at their Poulsbo home Wednesday.
Seth South, 23, called 911 after allegedly slitting his brothers, Sebastian and Scotty’s throats leaving them in pools of blood.
The suspect told the dispatcher that another family member carried out the slayings before the call went silent.
Police found the teens’ bodies at the family home and questioned South’s grandfather who said the killer told him “You’re either with me or against me” and admitted to the killings.
South’s stepfather also said the suspect confessed to killing two people. Police learned he was on his way to slaughter a third sibling who resides in Missouri.
Authorities issued a statewide warrant for the suspect’s arrest and an alert about his Toyota Tacoma.
Pierce County deputies located the truck on State Route 310 near Bonney Lake and used stop sticks to deflate its tires.
They forced South to pull over and apprehended him; Detectives found bloody clothing inside the vehicle that had blood on the shift knob.
South is accused of assaulting a detective trying to handcuff him. He faces two counts of second-degree murder and assault.
