Butler news, Pennsylvania news.

Former President Donald Trump made a defiant return to the site of an assassination attempt that nearly claimed his life last July.

Addressing a huge crowd of his supporters in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump recalled the “harrowing 16 seconds” Thomas Crooks opened fire at him unleashing a hail of gunshots from a nearby rooftop on Jul 13.

“A very big thank you to Pennsylvania, we love Pennsylvania,” Trump started his remarks to deafening cheers.

“On this very ground, a cold-blooded assassin aimed to silence me and to silence the greatest movement - MAGA - in the history of our country.”

Trump added that his return to Butler was to deliver a message to Pennsylvanians and Americans.

“Our movement to make America great again stands stronger, prouder, more united and determined and nearer to victory than ever,” Trump said.

“I will never quit, I will never bend, I will never break, I will never yield, not even in the face of death itself.”
