Cottonwood Heights news, Utah news.

A Utah woman is accused of killing her national guardsman husband last month, weeks after filing for divorce.

Jennifer Gledhill, 41, allegedly shot Matthew Johnson, 51, in the head while he slept in the master bedroom of their Cottonwood Heights home on Sept. 21.

The wife admitted to a confidential informant that she “executed” Johnson and tried tampering with the crime scene, even ordering a new mattress.
