Newton County news, Missouri news.

A Missouri infant is fighting for his life after his mother’s boyfriend allegedly threw him into the air, dropped him on the ground, and bear-hugged him until he stopped crying.

The incident occurred on September 14, when the baby’s mother left him in a baby jumper and went to the bathroom.

Jordan Boggess, 28, admitted to tossing the 9-month-old baby into the air and failing to catch him due to “sweaty hands.”

“They said baby Waylon will not be the same baby,” the baby’s grandmother said.

“If he makes it, he’ll be wheelchair-bound. He will not be able to talk. He will not be able to feed himself.”
