2 toddlers die in hot vehicle in Oklahoma

Two toddlers were found dead in a hot car in Norman, Oklahoma Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Officers responded to the scene at around 3 p.m. and determined that the 2-year-olds were already deceased.

  • “The investigation indicates that the two children were accidentally left in the vehicle for an extended period of time and were later located by family,” police said.

    The incident is under investigation. Temperatures in Norman reached around 90 degrees Thursday afternoon.

    The deaths raise the total of children who have died in hot cars in the US this year to 27.
