Police in Weber County, Utah are not looking for suspects after the bodies of a woman and three young children were found inside a car late Tuesday.
A family member found the bodies of a woman said to be in her early thirties and three children, a 4-year-old boy and two girls aged 2 and 1, inside a vehicle in West Haven.
Deputies arrived at the scene at around 10 p.m., Sheriff’s Sgt. Sean Endsley said.
“When deputies arrived, they confirmed four people were deceased, and beyond any help,” he said.
“It appears to be related to gunshot trauma, but, of course, an exact cause and manner have not been determined.”
Investigators recovered a handgun found inside the car. They revealed that no arrests were made in connection to the incident and they weren’t looking for suspects.
