Authorities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania said that a man was fatally shot inside a car after a fight at a large gathering early Sunday morning.
The victim was found deceased from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle that crashed while he attempted to flee the scene, Allegheny County Police said.
A large fight broke out on State Street in Clairton just before 4 a.m., authorities said.
First responders found several people fighting in the streets when they arrived at the scene.
“Multiple local police departments responded to the area to assist Clairton Police,” police said.
“Upon arrival, they heard multiple shots fired in the crowd at 4:10 a.m.”
The victim was attempting to flee after suffering a gunshot wound before crashing his car.
Two other victims suffered gunshot wounds and were treated at a local hospital. They were listed in stable condition.
At least one suspect is in custody but no formal charges were filed as of Sunday morning.
