Authorities in Pennsylvania are accusing a couple of the heinous killing of their 6-year-old granddaughter.

Jazmine and Manuel Rodriguez, aged 44 and 46, were charged with homicide after the body of their granddaughter was discovered on Monday.

Detectives said the girl had been dead for some time after being locked for three days in a room where temperatures reached 100 degrees.

The victim was wearing a soiled diaper and was suffering from severe diaper rash.

“The condition of the victim at the time of her death is consistent with the victim being locked in the room for more than 3 days,” Berks County DA John T. Adams said.

“The manner of death has been ruled a homicide.”

Police are looking for the girl’s uncle, 20-year-old Manuel Rodriguez Jr., for suspected involvement in her death.
