Georgia boy dies ‘unexpectedly’ after getting home from school orientation

A Canton, Georgia boy died unexpectedly after attending school orientation, his family said.

Dominic Ippolitp returned home from his elementary school after attending an orientation class in preparation for the upcoming school year when tragedy struck.

The 4th grader “passed away unexpectedly and without warning” shortly after arriving home.

    He leaves behind his parents and a younger sister. A family friend described him as a “smart, kind, sweet young man who had a huge heart.”

    Dominic had just earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and liked 4-wheeling with his father, the friend said.

    A GoFundMe for the devastated family has raised more than $22,000.
