Butler news, Pennsylvania news.

What likely saved Trump’s life from a bullet targeting his head was a spontaneous decision to show charts on a jumbotron to thousands of supporters at the Butler rally, his campaign manager revealed.

The bullet aiming the former president’s head ended up grazing his ear thanks to the sudden move.

“Thank God last night’s rally was one in which President Trump wanted to use and reference the jumbotron, causing him to slightly move his head at the moment shots were fired,” Dan Scavino Jr. explained.

Before the shocking assassination attempt, Trump told his supporters that he was “going off the teleprompter” and planned to address the southern border policy first, asking for statistic charts to be displayed on the jumbotron screen.

Trump turned his head to look at the visual aid on screen when shots rang out and he grabbed his ear, sheltering behind the podium.

The FBI identified the would-be assassin as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, adding that he used an AR-style rifle from a rooftop to shoot at Trump.
