Former President Donald Trump won the South Carolina primary late Saturday shattering his rival Nikki Haley’s hopes to prevail in her own state.
Trump secured all 29 state delegates immediately after the polls closed with roughly 20 points ahead of Haley.

“This was a little sooner than we anticipated. And even a bigger win than we anticipated,” Trump told his celebrating supporters at the South Carolina fairgrounds in Columbia.
“I have never seen the Republican Party as United as it is right now.”
Trump, who did not mention Haley in his speech, has claimed every primary in the November election cycle beating rivals in Iowa, New Hampshire, the US Virgin Islands, and Nevada.
