Boy, 3, found dying with throat-slit in bathtub at California home

A California boy was hospitalized late Tuesday after a family friend found him in a bathtub with his throat slit at a Lancaster home.

The 3-year-old boy was suffering a “laceration to the upper body” when police arrived at the house on the 43400 block of 57th Street.

The boy died shortly after arriving at a local hospital.

    He was hospitalized in stable condition. No arrests were immediately made but the incident was deemed a homicide.

    Officers found three older siblings - aged 9, 11, and 14 and brought them to the sheriff’s department.
