Two toddlers were found dead inside a car parked on a Miami highway early Friday and a female driver of the car was critically injured after she jumped off an overpass.
Police were called to Interstate 95 on the Golden Glades Interchange where the interstate meets Florida’s Turnpike at around 2 a.m.
Passersby were attempting CPR on the twin 3-year-olds when officers arrived.

A woman believed to be the driver of the car jumped off the overpass onto train tracks after spotting officers.
She was listed in a critical condition. Her relationship with the deceased toddlers is unknown at this time.
“Right now, our investigators are working to piece this tragic incident together,” said Det. Andre Martin on the scene.
