A Georgia woman was charged with murder in the death of her toddler who passed from “exposure to the elements” after she took him into the woods to do drugs.
Uriha Ridge is accused of taking her two children, aged 3 and 7, to the woods away from Fox Hall Resort Tuesday to do drugs in the middle of the night.
Police said the children wore thin clothes while temperatures were below freezing.
Ridge spent the night there with her two children after she took more drugs.
She allegedly left the resort where she had been staying around midnight on Jan. 16 and did not show up again until 11:51 a.m. the following day.
The woman’s children were “soaking wet” when found by the police. The younger child died from “exposure to the elements” and the other was hospitalized.
