Body found in burning metal drum in Henderson; reward offered for information

Authorities in Henderson, Nevada are investigating after the body of a woman was found inside a burning drum late Tuesday.

Police and fire officials responded to a “fire incident” report in the 1700 block of Sunset Road just before 8 p.m. and made a shocking discovery.

Fire crews found a metal drum on fire and extinguished the flames to find a deceased woman inside the charred drum.

  • The incident is being investigated as a “suspicious death.” The identity of the victim will be determined by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
