The co-defendant in a Spanish language teacher’s murder broke down in tears and bled from his nose as he was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the 2021 slaying.
Jeremy Goodale, 18, was convicted of helping his friend Willard Miller slaughter 66-year-old Nohema Graber who had given Miller a bad grade.

The pair stalked Graber while she walked in a Fairfield park before ambushing her with a bat and beating her to death.
They then moved the body to an area near railroad tracks and covered it with a tarp.
Goodale apologized to his victim’s family but Judge Shawn Showers noted that he was smart enough to consider the repercussions of his acts at the time of the murder.
