A Florida toddler was found dead earlier this month after she was left unattended with her sibling for several hours while their mother and her boyfriend were at work.

On September 1, Donrea McLaughlin and Sean Lee II found the 3-year-old girl unresponsive. They took the child to a hospital where she was declared dead.

Detectives said that the couple left the toddler and another child alone at home for nearly eight hours while they were at work.
