A 50-year-old Oklahoma man was the victim of a tragic accident after he was thrown from his motorcycle in front of a tractor-trailer that struck him early Thursday morning.
Oklahoma State Troopers said that Michael McKaskle was traveling on US-412 and trying to pass a vehicle at around 6:30 a.m. when a dog came running out on his path.

McKaskle struck the dog with the impact sending him flying from his motorcycle. He landed in front of a tractor-trailer that fatally hit him, authorities said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said that the driver of the trailer did not sustain injuries in the crash.
