Maine is under its first hurricane watch in 15 years as it breaches for Category 1 Hurricane Lee expected to hit the already drenched state by Friday afternoon.

“It’s a batten-down-the-hatches kind of day,” said a boat owner from Boothbay Harbor Marina where boats were being removed from the storm’s way.
