Driver had been in jail since March in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Naomi Irion after he was spotted in surveillance footage forcing his way into the victim’s car as she left a Walmart.

17 days after she was kidnapped, Irion’s remains were located at a gravesite in a remote area of Churchill County on March 29.

Police alleged that Driver raped Irion and fatally shot her before burying the body. His trial was set to begin on July 9, 2024.
