A murder-suicide in North Carolina is being investigated after footage of the gruesome scene circulated on Instagram Wednesday.
18-year-old Nasir Scott shot his girlfriend, Tatiana Haywood, 18, to death before filming her body in a pool of blood.

Police said that Scott was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officer Alexandria Pecia confirmed that the video of the crime was being taken down from social media.
Lindsay Whiteley, the Cumberland County Schools spokesperson, said that Haywood was expected to graduate high school next month.
Scott reportedly “chose to leave” school on May 10.
