Ventura County news, California news.

Moments before he was crushed to death by a stabbing suspect near a Ventura County high school Tuesday, a 15-year-old boy heard his mom say that she loved him on phone.

Kelly Welling recalled her last conversation with her late son Wesley who was mowed down in front of his sister who miraculously escaped on their mother's birthday.

“I get the call from my daughter Hannah. There was an accident and he was unconscious and they were doing CPR and they did CPR the whole way to the hospital,” Kelly recalled.
