Arizona hairstylist, 44, identified as woman who fell to death off Disneyland's parking structure

The woman who died Saturday after falling off Disneyland's parking structure in Anaheim was identified as a 46-year-old Scottsdale, Arizona hairstylist.

Marney Schoenfeld's death was not yet ruled a homicide but investigators do not believe the fall to be accidental.

The gifted hairstylist of 23 years leaves behind a daughter and a husband, who described the family's pain as “excruciating.”

  • “She was a loving mother to her daughter, Sydney,” Schoenfeld's husband said. “She was a caring wife to me.”

    “She was a talented hairstylist of 23 years and her clients loved her.”

    Schoenfeld fell from the parking building at Mickey and Friends amusement park at around 6:50 p.m. Saturday. She was pronounced dead at an area hospital shortly afterward.

    "Like all death investigations, the cause and manner of death will be pending the conclusion of the investigations being completed by the Anaheim Police Department and the Orange County Coroner's Office," Police Sgt. Jon McClintock said.
