Los Angeles authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that took place outside a residence early Saturday morning.
Three people were confirmed dead and four others injured when gunfire broke out outside the Beverly Crest home, police said.
In a press conference held Saturday, LA Police Sergeant Bruce Borihanh did not confirm initial reports suggesting that there was a party inside the home at the time of the shooting.
He also declined to confirm that the decedents were a woman and two men, noting that the coroner's office will make an announcement about the victims.
Sgt. Frank Preciado said that those killed were inside a vehicle while the injured were standing at the scene.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident.
