Texas attorney, caught on camera trying to shoot ex-girlfriend at bar, found dead

A Texas attorney caught on surveillance camera threatening his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint Saturday was found dead three days later.

Gavin Rush was involved in an altercation with his ex at the Anderson Mill Pub where she worked after she rejected his attempts to revive their relationship.

The 41-year-old told the woman, “So you just aren’t going to talk to me?” before pointing his firearm at her.

    Rush tried to shoot himself in the head but the patrons intervened again; His girlfriend said that he had threatened to kill himself before.

    Rush was arrested on second-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and family violence. He posted a bond and was released from custody.
