Neighbors of a “normal” family were left shaken Tuesday after the bodies of the couple and their three children were discovered in a Lake Nona residence.
The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide: Detectives believe that Donovan Ramirez, 45, killed his 39-year-old wife Stephanie Ramirez, and their children aged 22, 11, and 7.
Although the bodies were discovered Tuesday afternoon amid a welfare check, neighbors suggested the tragedy had taken place days earlier.
“There’s no way this happened today, we have been home all day,” neighbor Justin Rossilini said.
“There’s no way this happened yesterday – we were home all day yesterday, there’s no way this happened yesterday.”
“Nope, no neighbors did. All the neighbors that were out just now, everyone was like, ‘Did you hear anything?’ Everyone was like, ‘Nope.’”
