‘Like in a movie’: Gunman walks up behind victim, shoots him at point blank range killing him in San Antonio gym

A San Antonio man was shot and killed Monday evening while he was working out at a gym, authorities said.

The unidentified victim died from a gunshot wound to the head at LA Fitness gym at around 7 p.m. Monday. Jessie Marqui MacWilliams, 32, was later named as the suspect who walked up behind the victim before shooting him at close range.

“He walked up right to him [the victim] point blank and just aired him out like it was in a movie,” an eyewitness said. “The dude could probably feel the gun on his head before.”

    According to the witness, the deceased man was with his son at the time of the killing.

    “He didn’t even cry. He didn’t even know what to think about it. Bless his heart.”
