Just weeks after he celebrated the first birthday of his toddler, NFL Star Jeff Gladney passed in a tragic car crash early Monday.
The Arizona Cardinals cornerback’s agent Brian Overstreet confirmed the grim news adding that the 25-year-old died in a fatal crash in Dallas at around 2:30 a.m. He was one of two deceased victims.
In a recent Instagram post to celebrate his son Kingston’s first birthday, less than three months ago, Gladney shared a picture with the sleeping baby wishing him a happy birthday.
“You wouldn’t understand how the thought of you has gotten me through many of my darkest days,” the fallen player said of “the lil guy who changed his life.”
“Although we have many, many more birthdays and memories to come this one is special.”
