San Francisco news, California news.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is banned from receiving communion in her hometown Roman Catholic archbishop over her support of abortion rights.

Ultra-conservative Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone said that the decision came after Pelosi ignored his request to talk about her stance that “has only become more extreme over the years, especially in the last few months.”

“Please know that I find no pleasure whatsoever in fulfilling my pastoral duty here,” the Archbishop’s statement concluded.
